FOUR KINDS OF SPORTS MASSAGE

Pre-event massage

Just before the game, you need to warm up, energize and mentally prepare yourself for the performance. This is the shortest massage session aiming at clearing the head and increasing focus.


Post-event massage​

After the intensive activity, competition, or race, the athlete needs to relax and cool down. This massage will prevent soreness and tightness in the muscles the next day.

Restorative massage

In between trainings, this treatment is done to maintain optimal health and efficacy, and to prevent the injuries. 


​Rehabilitative massage

This therapy is done to treat injuries, and in combination with physical therapy, it is commonly done in well-equipped facilities. 
Sports massage focuses on functionality of soft tissue and mobility of joints.
